About the Role

The Program Director II is a leadership role responsible for overseeing program development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure high-quality services for neurodivergent individuals. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, program management expertise, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The Program Director II will collaborate with stakeholders, manage staff, oversee budgets, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Travel will be required. This position will oversee our LA and Santa Barbara offices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, public administration, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree in a related field required

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in program management, social services, disability services, or a related field.

  • At least three (5) years of leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Experience with grant writing, fundraising, and securing program funding.

  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to disability services.

  • Experience with trauma-informed care and mental health support services.

  • Strong knowledge of neurodiversity, developmental disabilities, and person-centered planning.

  • Experience with Medicaid-funded programs, housing support services, and case management.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in program evaluation, data analysis, and budgeting.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders.

  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
