Hi! My name is Benjamin Gonzalez and I am privileged to serve as a Coordinated Career Pathways Case Manager at Self Determined Futures LLC.

I currently possess a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and a Minor in Management. My journey began as an Academic and Wrestling Coach at Helix Charter High School, where I cultivated valuable experience in job coaching, academic counseling and leadership management skills over my three-year tenure. Motivated to make a meaningful impact, I found a great interest as a Behavior Technician over two years while working with ACES. Over those years, I immersed myself in delivering applied behavioral analysis (ABA) services to individuals and families, adapting to a range of environments—from living rooms and classrooms to clinical spaces. Transitioning over to education, working as a Substitute Teacher primarily for special education classes, the skills I honed there allowed me to flourish with multiple school districts across San Diego. Here, I embraced the opportunity to mentor and launch parent education programs—efforts that not only expanded my skill set but also enhanced the goal for person centered-based care. Becoming a Case Manager with Self Determined Futures is more than a professional milestone, it’s a deeply personal calling that aligns with my lifelong passion for helping others reclaim their voice and purpose. I hold a steadfast belief in the extraordinary potential of individuals of all abilities and am driven to amplify those often-overlooked. For me, this work is about more than support. It's about walking beside people with compassion, inspiring confidence, and building bridges of understanding that help us all move forward together
