My name is Roxana. I was born in California and spent the majority of my life in the Inland Empire.

I received a B.A.A in Psychology in 2021 from New Mexico Highlands University. My current M.A. coursework has greatly contributed to my understanding of human behavior and development, along with emotional, social and communication skills.

I have previous work experience in the human services sector, including working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I have volunteered at mental health community events, led K-12 students on college exploration tours, and contributed to career readiness seminars.

I enjoy time in nature, tending to my personal, rapidly expanding, plant family (12 plants and counting), and listening to music. I have found a passion for serving individuals whose lives have been impacted by intellectual/developmental disabilities and am excited to continue this work with Self-Determined Futures!
