Hi! My name is Ariana Sandoval and I am a Case Manager with Self Determined Futures. I hold a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from California State University Northridge. I have an extensive background in Applied Behavior Analysis with over 5 years of experience.

My passion to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities began during my adolescent years. As I attended Junior High, I recall observing that students in Special Education classes were often isolated and marginalized from the rest of the students. I often asked myself " I wonder how they are feeling today?" "Does anyone ever ask them what makes them happy or what are their interests and hobbies?" I took the initiative to befriend these students and get to know them. This lit a desire deeply within me to advocate and assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their life to their fullest potential and have equal access to resources. 

Following my College education, I began my career as a Behavioral Therapist where I worked directly with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder where I helped them grow and reach their goals using positive research based strategies. I later transitioned to other roles such as Behavioral Interventionist and Behavior Technician in which I was able to work closely with each unique individual to unlock joy and help them thrive in their environment. 

Presently, as a Case Manager with the Coordinated Family Support program, I strive to pave the pathway to equality and inclusion for all. My goal is to advocate, empower and deliver unwavering support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). I am committed to making an impactful difference by providing hope and persevering in adversity. Thanks for reading!
