Hello, my name is Stephanie, and I am grateful to be a part of the Self Determined Futures team as a Recreational Specialist. I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology, which laid the foundation for my passion in supporting individuals in meaningful and impactful ways.

I have spent two and a half years working in the mental health field as a case manager for adolescents requiring intensive care, with a strong focus on behavioral and social development. Through this work, I discovered how fulfilling it is to support clients in reaching milestones and making progress toward their personal goals. I have always been driven by a desire to give back to the community, and I consistently found purpose in helping individuals navigate challenges and celebrate their growth.

Throughout my experience, I have worked closely with Regional Center services to ensure clients receive the best possible support tailored to their individual needs. As someone who is on the autism spectrum myself, I feel a deep personal connection to this work and view it as my mission to advocate for and empower others.

I am excited to continue learning and growing within this field, and I have high hopes for the future as I contribute to supporting individuals in achieving fulfilling and self-determined lives. I am excited to be apart of Self-Determined Futures.
