I am honored to serve as the Grant Coordinator & Executive Assistant for Self Determined Futures, where I combine more than two decades of nonprofit leadership with a deep passion for creating meaningful impact in the communities we serve. After graduating from San Francisco State University in 2000, I began my nonprofit career with Toastmasters International and have since had the privilege of serving in leadership roles including Director of Philanthropy, Executive Director, President, and CEO. Throughout my career, I have been committed to strengthening organizations, cultivating meaningful partnerships, and advancing missions that improve lives. Having served in executive leadership throughout much of my career, I understand the importance of strategic partnerships, sustainable funding, and mission-driven collaboration in creating lasting impact.

Service has always been central to my life. From an early age, I developed a passion for volunteering and giving back to my community—a commitment that ultimately inspired a lifelong career in the nonprofit sector. Joining Self Determined Futures has been the realization of a long-held professional goal. Supporting an organization whose mission, values, and dedication to empowering neurodivergent individuals and their families so closely align with my own is both a privilege and deeply meaningful to me. I believe that every successful grant, partnership, and project represents an opportunity to expand access, strengthen communities, and help individuals reach their fullest potential.

Outside of work, I am the proud mother of a son beginning his college journey. I also enjoy working part-time as a cheesemonger and sommelier, where I share another passion of mine—bringing people together through food, wine, and conversation. In my free time, you'll often find me traveling, attending concerts, exploring amusement parks, or spending quality time with my dogs, family, and friends.
