CFS/ILS Case Manager
I am grateful to be a part of the Self Determined Future team and to have the opportunity to support individuals in achieving greater independence and quality of life. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University, where I developed a strong foundation in client advocacy and community-based support services.
While completing my studies, I worked as a respite worker through a nonprofit organization, providing care for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In this role, I built meaningful relationships with both the children and their families. I found this experience especially rewarding, as it allowed me to give parents much needed time to rest while ensuring their children received attentive and compassionate care.
Through my education and hands on experience, I discovered a strong passion for helping others navigate challenges and access resources that promote independence and well-being. I am excited to work with a different demographic and to apply my skills in a new capacity, assisting individuals with identifying goals, overcoming barriers, and connecting to services that support success in their daily lives.
