Hi! My name is Molly, and I’m the Deaf+ Communication & Support Specialist at Self Determined Futures, LLC. I’m Deaf and come from a strong background in Deaf culture, with personal experience and a deep understanding of the Deaf+ community, communication access, and the unique needs of Deaf+ individuals and their families.

I bring a strong background in working with Deaf students and individuals. I have previously worked in Deaf schools as an Intervener Specialist and Communication Specialist, where I supported individuals with their communication needs and worked closely with them to understand and support their personalized goals, strengths, and needs. These experiences have given me valuable knowledge and a strong understanding of the importance of individualized support, communication access, and empowering individuals to make choices about their own lives.

As a Deaf+ Communication & Support Specialist, I work to connect Deaf+ individuals and families with resources, services, and supports that align with their goals and needs. I’m also excited to be part of the Deaf+ Connect Equity Project (DCEP), where I support community outreach, resource fairs, workshops, and collaboration with community partners and service providers.

I’m excited to bring my personal experience, knowledge, and passion for Deaf culture and the Deaf+ community into this program. I hope to use my background to build meaningful connections, increase access to resources, and make a positive difference in the lives of Deaf+ individuals and families.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with my family.
